Bio
Since starting my teaching career with Teach for America nearly twenty years ago, I have taught in a variety of environments and at every grade level. The majority of my career, I have been a school librarian and a technology integration specialist. As much as I love developing young minds, I'm equally passionate about helping teachers find the best resource to enhance learning for their students. I enjoy leading teacher professional development and collaborating with educators around the world. I have presented many times at local, regional, and international conferences and am actively involved in the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
I earned an undergraduate degree in history and music from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Information Science from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. While I love using technology in the classroom, I try to unplug as much as possible when I'm at home with my family. I enjoy making things with my hands, taking road trips, hiking, and reading.
