Edpuzzle in the Classroom: An Effective Tool to Enhance Student Learning in ELA
My overall opinion of Ed Puzzle is very high. I feel that it is a powerful tool that brings video, music, literature, and effective assessment tools together resulting in a creative and powerful way to convey authors and literature. It can also be given as an independent assignment or can be conducted in "live mode" during class time. One thing I think could be improved is synching the grading for the assignment with the teacher's grading platform. In terms of TPACK, Ed Puzzle enhances effective teaching with technology, requiring an understanding of the representation of concepts using technology. Ed Puzzle uses assessment in constructive ways to teach content. Ed Puzzle would fall within the augmentation level of SAMR, allowing for individual and independent learning and assessment using a technological tool.

The main drawback is the volume of available content and the way it's organized. The search experience can be daunting. Many teachers have created and shared their own versions of the same videos, and it can be tough to wade through them all to find what you need.

Easy Way to Make Sure Students Are Paying Attention
My overall opinion about Edpuzzle is it is excellent as homework for students when you want them to review in-class material, but not to have it in class. Edpuzzle needs to be done individually and at the students' pace. Hence, it is a good homework activity to ensure the students are still engaging with the material. Still, as a review, they do not feel confused about the material from the video leading them to get frustrated if they get the question wrong.

Edpuzzle reminds me of those recipes you find online with eight minutes worth of reading to scroll down, but you have to have it slowly read to you to get to the recipe, and you can't skip it or do anything else, and in the end the recipe sucks.
i don't like it, the students don't like it. nobody likes it. I recommend that nobody use this product, and those who do, please stop. I especially hate it's slogan, "Clasee just got a whole lot more interesting!" (It didn't)
